Who Can Become A Member

Credit unions are non-profit banking organizations designed for select members of our community. This allows us to provide our members with lower interest rate loans and a variety of other benefits.

To become a member of CCTFCU, you’ll qualify for membership if any of the following are true:

  • You live, work, worship, or attend school in Rusk, Texas
  • You have immediate family who are members
  • You’re a Cherokee County employee
  • You’re a Cherokee County ISD employee
  • You’re a Cherokee County Appraisal district employee
  • You’re a Cherokee County Electrical coop employee

If you meet any of the above criteria, you can qualify for membership. Stop by our branch office to join.

How To Become A Member

To become a member, you’ll need to come to our branch office to open a share savings account. To open the account, you’ll need to deposit at least $25. After you’ve opened your account, you’re a member and are entitled the benefits of membership, including:

  • Checking account
  • CDs and IRAs
  • And more
